Grading and cleaning machinery has been ordered from Forsberg Agritech (based out of Baroda, Gujrat) and are on their way to Kadiri. The unit is expected to be ready in 3 weeks time and we plan to start production by end of May.

Millets Procurement:
With support from many of you we were able to raise about 10 Lakhs so far. That has enabled us to procure nearly - 30 tons of Millets - both Foxtail and Little Millets - in time for the setting up of the Production Unit. We are grateful for support extended to us !!

Marketing Plans:
We now have support from Access Livelihoods Consulting (ALC) India for Business Management related tasks including - Reviewing existing business plan, Training our team members in Business management, Costing of the product and business strategies, Training in legal aspects of the business.

Other Related Updates:
We are also involved in Partnering with ICAR for seed supply, millets cropping systems research and marketing support. There is another parallel effort ongoing in connection with WASSAN to Introduce Millets in the Public Distribution System.
